As thread title, I may well soon be selling my current rig and I was shopping around for cases and the quality of the TJ07 caught my eye. Now I'v just been searching and I came across this image:

Now Has SS issued a sidepanel or is that just a custom mod?

I'm really hoping that some side panels are available for this case :(

Hi dark_shadow

It looks like a custom mod to me.

If you have a look in CustomPC the June issue reviewing a TJ07 water cooled crossfire system with a custom reaper window that nice.

Looks like a mutation of a Lian Li V1000 (wheels) and a Chenbro Gaming Bomb (handles) , not sure I like the window either

I was thinking of getting a stock TJ07 for my new build but I will be waiting to see some feedback on the Lian Li S80.

the standard tj07 looks much nicer than that mod.

I would expect that you can buy a window panel for it, they sell seperate windows for most of their big towers.

Eeew that's one way to ruin one of the best looking cages imo :(

But as other mentioned, all the extra stuff is custom made, no such parts from Silverstone..

Hi,

I'v had the June edition lying around for weeks! Havent got round to reading it, but I just had a quick peak and it seems that these are custom mods.

Me & Tools don't go very well together :o

Gr1mey, That's not the case (Excuse the pun) with the TJ07, hence why I started the thread.

Why? I have my Scythe MINE blowing air out of my case via the top two 120mm fans aswell. The 92mm fans blow cold air inside the case.

number one where is the fan ontop of the case? there isnt.

and there is no way for the air to get out, if those to back 92mm fans are blowing inside the case, hes mounted it with fan pointing up or down, which is a bad idea, cos as you said if there blowing in where is the air going to? would have been best same direction as the fans.

You should have fans at the top of the case blowing hot air out, not cold air in, because a) heat rises and b) you can cause a vacuum or air pockets. Makesure your case has a nice air flow. Standard is: front blowing cold air in, back blowing the warm air out.

Reviews are meaningless unless you know what the reviewer is comparing it to and how long they have used the case, their general feelings towards all cases etc.

I for one will get a S80, just aslong as it isnt a 767 I will probably say it is at least good in the looks. I really hope this one isnt a dud as I really need to move on from my V1000+.

As soon as I see them from reputable stores I will get one.

I already have one so I know what I'm talking about :D
Because hot air rises, silverstone installed two 120mm fans at the top to take the hot air out of the case, hence my lows temps I get
