I have a Tomahawk Max with a nVME SSD as my main drive with the OS on running Windows 1909 with no issues. I also have a couple of SSDs and 3.5" Sata drives for extra storage as single drives (none are in a RAID)

Every time I update to Windows 10 2004 or 20H2 I get an inaccessible boot device error upon reboot. Machine then un does the changes and boots back into Windows 10 1909. Any ideas why??

I have a feeling it's something in the BIOS that isn't correctly configured.

I think I'm going to wipe the drive and reinstall with Windows 10 20H2 via USB, but should I change any of my settings within the BIOS?

It's currently set to UEFI and AHCI.

I wasn't sure if setting it to RAID rather than AHCI would make a difference, but isn't that setting ignored by nVME drives anyway?

Any advice much appreciated!

Yeah thats right Control Panel is still there but when you click on say System you dont get the usual grey pop up windows with the tabs it takes you to the Windows 10 Settings / System.
