Hello

I recently purchased a new PSU and a GPU as follows, also upgraded to windows 10

EVGA G2 750W
MSI AMD R9 380 4G

I keep getting a random error in windows that sometimes freezes the entire system forcing me to hard reboot. " The display driver has stopped responding and has recovered"

It has never done whilst I am in game, usually when I am browsing on chrome/youtube etc

I have updated all drivers and performed a fresh uninstall but I keep getting this error. I am not very good with technology and computers so I was wondering could this be caused by the GPU or PSU being a natural hardware fault? Or is this just natural driver issues? I have not got any blue screens

Have you located the relevant logs in the Event Viewer for the driver crash?

Looking at the event viewer it says this

" Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered"

So it appears after disabling hardware acceleration in google chrome I have no longer had these " display driver has stopped responding " errors.

I believe this is fixed " Touch wood "

Thank you for the help
