Windows 10 and easybcd

What it is, I would like to duel boot win 10, and win 7. I would like to use easybcd, but don't know if it will work, and does it work. Thanks

Its relatively simple, Ive done it many times, here is someones Youtube tutorial:

You just need to point easybcd to the drives that windows are installed on.

Thanks for that. I have a single drive with win 10 on it and going to put win 7 on it, to duel boot. Did find a video on that.

Are we talking laptop or desktop ?

If desktop, I would install the OS's onto different HDD's. Then simply select which drive to boot from in the BIOS. Say set Win 10 as default boot. And when you want to boot into Win 7. Mash the keyboard, in my case with an Asus board F8 lets me choose the boot menu, select the chosen HDD and bingo.

I assume you mean dual boot and not duel boot

Last time I checked, EasyBCD does not work with UEFI installs. Do you know if your current W10 install is UEFI or legacy?

The easybcd did work on my UEFI BIOS, then my computer crashed, tried 3 motherboards in, but still crashed, and had to send it away to get fixed.
