Hey guys,

Yesterday Windows decided to turn my Windows 7 into a Windows 10. I was mid-game and it shut everything off and decided to 'upgrade' me, I wasn't hugely happy but what can I do. I feel like my PC has been assimilated by the Borg collective!

Anyway going forward with this im looking into getting a security program that will offer adequate protection from virus, malware and spyware (and all hte other nasties!). Ive obviously got windows defender. Is that enough? Ive currently also got malwarebytes, ccleaner, spybot S&D and advanced system care. Im aware this is quite frankly ridiculous and way too much thats needed.

So what do i uninstall and what do I get in their place?

Thanks guys! And beware of the Microsoft Borg Collective! (check your auto-update settings. I switched windows 10 upgrade off on it but it still did it!).

Nowt wrong with 10 as long as you turn off it's security vulnerabilities :p

Google for a full list I'm in lazy mode.

I wasn't happy that it threw me off a game and decided to update after me telling it not to earlier in the day. That said it may be good, I dont really know. All I know is I had audio issues when it first started, ive sorted that but im irritated by how any of the 'apps' are constantly full screen. Trying to use media monkey for audio in the background of stuff and I hate having to go fullscreen. Maybe im just too old school or whatever.
