Turned my computer on this morning to find no internet via ethernet. Every other device in the house is connecting fine through Wi-Fi, decided to turn power off for 5 minutes and now bluescreen.

I can’t boot into safe mode.
I can’t use start-up repair.
I cant reset to factory settings.
I cant system restore to an earlier date.

I can only access command prompt.

Blue screen reads: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED.

Not sure what to try.

Wow never heard of Windows 10 CRITICAL PROCESS DIED error before.

Brilliant you can access command prompt.

In command prompt, type in command below each time one a time:

sfc /scannow

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The first one said “Windows Resource Protection couldnt not perform the requested operation”

The rest all say “DISM does not support servicing Windows PE with the /online option.”

Seen this a couple of times, ended up in a reinstall.

I’m happy to do that but I can’t find any way to do it. I just get an error.

Also my brothers computer has no internet through ethernet. We don’t have Wi-Fi in the PC’s.

Backup the disk, then run Windows installer off install media created from Microsoft's website.

Format the disk and start again.

How do I do any of this when its completely unusable?

And why is the internet on a different PC not working with an ethernet cable. These must be two different problems.

Is your brother's computer picking up an IP? What does the network troubleshooter say?

Troubleshooter says

“The ethernet doesn’t have a valid IP configuration”

I also had that same message earlier when I tried before the blue screen started.

Try chkdsk c: in command prompt.

Then insert Windows 10 USB and type in fsutil fsinfo drives in command prompt to find your USB drive letter.

Enter your USB drive letter then after that, type in setup in command prompt to run Windows 10 setup installation.

Hmm, what do you mean by Windows 10 USB? My system was custom made by OcUK with Windows already installed

When Microsoft released new Windows 10 versions, they released media creation tool to created Windows 10 installation media in either iso image file or burn to DVD disc or create Windows 10 media on USB stick or USB flash drive.

Guess you not done any of these.
