Windows 10 BSOD since 1803 update

you checked it is really disabled chrome://gpu/ ?
if there is definitely correlation between the blue screens and chrome use

Think it's fixed now. I'd pretty much ruled out other software stuff like chrome as even after a clean boot just sat on desktop it would crash. Really appreciate everyone's help. The latest Nvidia driver seems to have sorted whatever the issue was. Haven't had a blue screen in a couple of days since the 398.11 driver version.

Fingers crossed it continues!
