Hey guys, just wondering how common these DCOM errors are and if you guys are experiencing them as often as I am. After googling I have found various registry tweak/fixes claiming to help but I've tried a few without any success. I checked the event log last night and just as before, they seem to appear every couple of minutes, sometimes resulting in the power kernel error then BSOD (but only while I'm playing Guild Wars 2)

By process of elimination I'm trying to solve the above. It would be nice to sit and play a session without having to worry about crashing midway through a boss fight.

Cheers in advance.

I got loads of those DCOM errors so I suspect they're completely unrelated to your game crashing.

edit: I'm not getting them every few minutes though. Perhaps yours are more serious? This is the error text from mine....

Thanks Marc, yep I'm getting those too. Looking at the event log they're appearing just before I get a BSOD, I'm thinking they're the culprit but as you say perhaps not. Seems odd that GW2 is the only game to crash. I'll have another dig tonight and see if anything else jumps out.
