We are getting issues with our Windows 10 build for PCs/Laptops/Surfaces where they fail every time when trying to install any of the monthly cumulative updates, with the "Windows could not complete updates, undoing changes" error.

This is happening on both 1607 (CBfB) and legacy 1511 versions, with any of the recent monthly cumulative updates. Some of the machines have secure boot and BitLocker enabled, but others do not.

There does not seem to be a definitive 'fix' out there. We are using WSUS (Server 2012 R2) to deploy updates ant it still will not work. One thing I've seen mentioned is the size of the System and EFI partitions, as after checking, they had filled up to the point of being full after a failed attempt to install the update, but I cannot see a definitive answer as to what the partition sizes should be?

Server2012R2 is rolling back everything it tried to install on itself for us at work.
Seems to be some subtext regarding certain intel processors.
Not sure why it would do the same on the workstations.
Is cretaors edition available for enterprise yet?

I had the same problem with updating from 1511. It went on for weeks so went on Microsft chat helpline.

I must have had 8-10 different a.holes trying to upgrade/update from 1511 to 1703, all doing the exact same thing remotely. In the end, I did a complete reset/clean re-install back to win 8 and went back on the chat to get the free upgrade to 1703. Still, I have the benefit of a like-new laptop now :)

Absolute PIA and these helpers??????? absolutely Useless.
