I have reinstalled windows 10 on my PC using a clean install, formatting my SSD. When Windows loaded up, the Wi-Fi and sound was already working- is it worth replacing the drivers windows uses for the most up to date drivers? My sound is Realtek HD audio (plus AMD sound over HDMI when I install the GPU drivers) and the Wi-Fi is a TP link N900 pcie jobbie.

Can I just install straight over the top or would I need to find a way to uninstall the windows drivers. With the default AMD drivers I used display driver uninstaller for instance. And then installed "proper" AMD drivers.

You can just install over the top. Even for the GPU ones as Windows 10 will automatically install an older AMD version.

Yes, as MS supplied drivers are always out of date and you should be running manufacturer supplied drivers and not the generic MS drivers for those that do default to the generic drivers as those can be rather flakey (like the SATA/AHCI driver as the generic MS driver is complete garbage).
