Windows 10, did a new install

Hey all.
I know there's a thread about Windows 10 but it's just a quick mention.

I applied for the Windows 10 free upgrade on my old Windows 8.1 install but..
Since I re-installed Windows 8.1 will I still get it?

I don't see the icon in the bottom right telling me I can do a free upgrade.

Make sure you have all the latest updates installed, go to windows updates click check for updates, you might have to do it a few times.

Then register again when the icon appears.

Just done a fresh install myself of 8.1 for upgrading.

google "how to upgrade to windows 10 without waiting" should be at the top of the page.

Worked on all of my machines.
