I have the most annoying issue.

EVERY time I restart Windows it seems to pick each of the monitors up as a different Audio device and randomly selects any 1 of the 3 to be the default device for audio. I've tried disabling the two devices that I don't use for audio but after a restart they are just picked back up again as another device #7 #8 etc.

Anyone else experienced this?

I've had the issue before and it used to keep finding the monitor when it was plugged in but not during restarts.

Have you tried looking in the software that controls the graphics card? pretty sure I had to do it in there in the end.

Yeah had a poke around in the NVCP, there is an option for Set Up Digital Audio and it lists all 3 devices but that's about all it does. No options in there to turn them on or off. If I disable them in the Windows Audio settings, soon as I turn the monitor off and back on again it just picks it up as a new device.

Very odd, is it also randomising the display number? as in, if it's monitor 1 before a reset is it still monitor 1 after the reset?

Just trying to figure out where the issue lies, is it that it's just randomly picking a monitor for audio or are the actual monitors changing as well so it doesn't know.

if the monitors are staying the same and it's purely an odd audio issues I wonder if you could have a little script that ran on startup that auto sets a specific monitor to default audio, may be easier than having to troubleshoot it.
