I made my self a new pc build but im having An issue everytime i try to install Windows 10 i keep getting error code 0x80070570 everytime idk whats going on help??
Everything in my system is new exept for the hard drive is my hard drive to old maybe?? Its a 160gig from a while ago lol but the build is
AMD Ryzen 5 1500x
Crucial 4gb ddr4
Asus prime a320k-m
Antec 400watt
Geforce 630gt
And that crappy 160gb HDD SATA

What could be the issue? The HDD works on the old pc tho but i havent tried win 10 on it..
Pl help im stuck..

Quick google shows its corrupt and unreadable file...i would suspect the hard drive.

Maybe i finally got passed that part but now al diff error comes up.. it says 0x80ff0000...
Weird but whats even more weird before i put this HDD into this system Windows 7 installed fine on it before on the same HDD why wont Windows 10 work now? And it has to be Windows 10 too :( So idk what to do buy new HDD? Its not my ram or anything? But the rest is brand new So not sure

The drive could be the problem. It could also be a red herring. Have you done a clean format of the drive when you install? Try that option if not.
By doing the quick format Windows 10 shows in the partition part? Yeah ive done that also delete and create new one but the drive is old It did work in the other pc but that wasnt Windows 10 that was 7 but i will try with a diff drive

Thanks everyone the ssd worked no issue at all only thing is my SSD didnt come with any screws and mine wont fit also my case doesnt seem to have a SSD slot is it ok if i leave it hanging in a corner there Its not infront of any fan or anything..

Also last question and ill be good ;p
I dont use all of my psu connections and the ones that are left over i Just tucked them into a empty bay slot is this ok?
Cause im worried the case might touch the connector or something..
But i just tucked it away into that so it has better airflow i only got one fan exaust but more will come my temps aent that high i checked as well was 35-41c during bios and Windows normal operation and 30-35c mobo....
But yeah is it safe to tuck the remaining connectors into a bay slot like that?
I assume So online this is recommanded

hi marlon

glad thats sorted ssd is a lot quicker boot up too. you can get tray slots for an ssd that fit where a normal 3.5 hd would go and there quiet cheap.
in terms off connectors, cable tie them up and store away like you have .

if you can eventually add more fans or get aio its well worth the money to spend. feel free to post pics off your build as be good to see

also download cpu a and hardware monitor to keep track off your temps

Thanks yeah ill buy one of those brackets next week and a extra fan im a little tight on cash atm..
I know i can zip tie them and tuck them away but thats not the issue what i mean is like if i tuck it away what 'if' one of the psu connecters pins touches the metal of my case and causes a short or something? kinda paranoaia to just tuck it without seeing where Its sitting or it doesnt matter?

Also since i only have one exaust is it ok for now to leave my cpu fan running at 100% i tested it and the noise is still pretty quiet at least i find it quiet even at 100% i tried it or will it wear out super quick?
I think ive read somewhere even at 100% itll last years not sure about this

couple of fans to consider pending what case you have

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £44.00 (includes shipping: £6.02)

there is usually space in a case to tuck wires, mine is tucked by the psu

Yeah mines tucked away too now but the plastic connectors what happens if it touches my case like the metal of the case touching one of the psu connectors im afraid something Will happen lol like a short i did tuck it away in a bay slot but i cant see if the connectors is touching any metal tho but they are loose wires So wont matter then?

Also i def get those fans ill take a look at them for the time being is it ik to leave cpu fan speed at 100%? Because Its still quiet this way and stays cool.. untill i get more case fans then j set it back to normal or Will it decrease the fan life by a lot
