Ok. I have already put windows 10 on from windows 7. What I want to no is should I do it again. Format PC into windows 7 and don't put any drivers on for motherboard apart from internet driver. Don't update windows 7 with any updates. I do though have to put windows 10 on from windows update as I don't have a blank DVD or usb to put the ISO on. But main question is the driver for my motherboard . If I didn't again should I put the drivers on or try and do it as bare bone as possible and let windows 10 put the drivers on automatic?.

I find that windows 7 onwards is normally pretty good with finding drivers.

on my system the only thing I install are my USB 3 Drivers and my GPU Drivers.

are you using the developer preview of windows 10? as when the final release comes out you will need to do a new install of the final version of windows 10 as the developer preview cant be upgraded to final copy (as far as im aware, I maybe wrong though!)

once the final copy is out you can upgrade from windows 7 to 10 for free in the first year
