windows 10 gaming errors

I just did a fresh install from Windows 7 to windows 10, leaving my game installs alone on another drive.

When I load up alien isolation and fall out 4 both report back a error something along lines of xinput or something like that and do not load up.

They're not fresh installs do I need a specific run time?

Are you running them from Steam?

You may need to find and run directx 9c or run setup again for the program.
