Windows 10 HDR

Hi,

Anyone had any success? Games would trigger HDR on my TV - KS8000 and HDR would work pre creators update.

I mean its been a few months now with several updates from windows and nvidea driver updates (980ti).

I have tried all the different methods I have managed to find although most date back to april time. Setting nvidea to default colours does not work neither does setting 4:2:2 10bit. TV is also updated to latest firmware and works fine with xbox one s 4k disc/game, Netflix app and Amazon app.

With the HDR toggle in windows active the whole desktop just looks washed out, if you enable HDR in game eg. Agents of Mayhem then the same happens all the colours wash out.

It was working fine before the update with Mass Effect and Resident Evil 7 (the only two HDR games I had at the time).

Anyone managed to get it to work?

I can't find it at the moment as I am at work, but last night I was looking at a video about HDR. I was thinking about getting one of the new Samsung's and in a video about it the reviewer had to set HDR on in windows before loading the game, and when in game had to lower the gamma. After doing this it looked really good, but before it was washed out. This may help a little?

Pretty much every Steam game wasn't working for me (as in crashing on start-up) on Windows 10 (insider). As soon as I switched off HDR they started working - now it may have just coincided with another fix however I would say that it's possibly borked at present.
