Hi,

I have encountered a frustrating issue when highlighting some jpegs, with the curser, from an external HDD folder, prior to copying them, to a SDXC micro card. I scroll to the bottom of page & beyond, to potentialy, highlight approx 60 photos BUT the page keeps scrolling down still highlighting all photos, I can't stop it. The curser turns into a revolving crash circle, I can only stop the page scrolling, by using the task master, to stop explorer. I have googled & tried many options - scannow/system restore/turned off mouse property - 'scroll inactive windows'/taken out USB & tried it in other sockets/tried the finger curser, on laptop/turned laptop off/back on/changed to small icons/lists - its even unstoppable then, with smaller icons, moving laterally when I'm highlighting the files, prior to copy/paste. its so frustrating. If anyone has had a similar issue & found a solution, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Ishy

Is it only windows explorer? Try using Multi Commander file manager, it is like Directory Opus was on the Amiga and its free.

Have you run the system file checker? I assume you have when you mention scannow but just checking (pun intended) :D

Have you tried a different mouse and perhaps disabling the track pad in case that has developed a problem and causing the issue?
