Hi guys,

Bit of an issue with a PC on a work network not being able to see a certain machine on the network.

Basically there are 2 PC's on this local network that need to access a folder stored a PC purely for the task of hosting a Sage database.

Both PC's were able to see it fine until one of them totally died (PSU fried I think?) We've temporarily moved another PC that wasn't in use to replace it, however this replacement (same model machine) is unable to see the Sage "server".

I've tried making sure all sharing settings are there, which they seem to be - one thing I have noticed however is that the replacement machine is running windows 10 home instead of professional, does anyone know if this could be a cause of the issue?

Cheers!

Jamie

If you know the network path you can just type it into the address bar at the top of an Explorer window.

e.g. \\MYSERVERNAME\MySharePathPart1\MySharePathPart2

You can actually just type \\MYSERVERNAME and hit return to see all of the available shares.

So if there is a PC on the network called SageStorage, what path would I type? Router name\SageStorage?
