Hi there, please can you assist, when I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 the other month my PC added a lockscreen and I dont know how to disable it?

I looked online for guides and I found two ways to disable it but both ways didnt work for some reason. The first method was to add a key in the registry and the 2nd method was to disable it under user accounts. The first way did nothing and the 2nd way brought up an error message saying "can't connect to network". So I don't know why something so simple is being difficult lol.

Please can you explain to me the easiest way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Unless you have the pro or enterprise editions you can't do it using that method as you cant access the 'Local Group Policy Editor'.
