Windows 10 Install Help

I am trying to install, via W-Update and also USB.

It downloads and installs to 100%, it then restarts and boots to the 'W10 blue window logo' boot screen.

It then freezes and does nothing at all, even if left for an hour.

When restarted, it's back on W7.

Laptop is a Samsung S3511

Try formatting the drive (once you have your backed up files) then installing from USB.

I would not do this until you have successfully upgraded to Windows 10 as you will not qualify for the free upgrade.

Once you have it installed and activated, yes by all means do a format and install.

Maybe try removing your AntiVirus first should you have one and then put it back on after the install?

tried everything, just tried another USB install. After the 'loading files' finishes, i get a black screen.

It seemed Windows 10 have a problem with Samsung S3511's wireless card.

Is your wireless card Broadcom or Atheros?

Interesting, it is a Broadcom.

Try download Broadcom driver from 2 links below:

If either not worked then best thing is to disabled Broadcom wireless in device manager and Windows 10 should boot and reach desktop fine with disabled wireless then you can re-enabled it later to install driver from windows update.
