Just done a clean install of windows 10 on my pc.
Was working fine prior to install.

Now its booted, found the network, got dhcp lease but it won't ping the gateway or any other IP but itself.
No warning triangle on the adapter and if I "diagnose" it says one or more network protocols are kissing from this computer"

Network config is correct
I've tried the drivers on there from the Asus website too.

There is an arp entry in the router for the pc so its it's definitely something in windows 10

Asus vii hero

uninstall windows 10 install windows 7 :)

Could not resist :)

Even better go Linux, ;) .

Back on topic any issues showing in Device Manager?

This on wired or wireless?...Sometimes latest drivers for wireless can be found by the chipset manufacturer(ie Intel, Mediatek, Realtek etc) rather then brand company like Asus.

Btw what AV and firewall are you using?

Literally fresh install of Windows.
Wired. Tried two different networks entirely.
Windows Firewall (though tried creating rules as well as disabling).
This same PC was working fine earlier on Windows 10 before I reformatted.

I've installed from an older Windows 10 ISO / Build I had on another PC from months ago - works fine now...

Who makes the chipset for the NIC?

Is it directly connected to the router? or through a powerline adapter?
