Windows 10 licences

i have 3 computers in my house on a volume licence key, which is not eligible for the free upgrade.

However one of them has updated to windows 10, one has the notification app and the other has nothing.... any views on this?

does having the 2nd one with the app in corner mean the upgrade will come at some stage?

the one that has upgraded does it state its activated in the update and recovery section?

yes fully activated and working. the volume licence is genuine and worked fine on my pc's - but according to ms volume licencing is not eligible for the free windows 10 upgrade

You could try taking a full backup of one of the other volume licence computers and doing the ISO upgrade method

If it does not activate just go back to the backup

just ran the iso on one and that upgraded as well

So it worked?

I'm starting to wonder if the ISO/upgrade tool actually bothers checking your current key, and just checks if Windows states it's activated.

Yeah it worked fine. Now all 3 PCs upgraded off same volume key
