Windows 10 Mail - Fix Account

I'm having problems with windows 10 mail. I've added my email account but it keeps showing a triangle with a ! in it, i right clicked on my email and click fix and it asks me to re enter my password which i do but it doesn't solve it. Anyone had this before?.

Have you tried removing the account, and re-setting it up?

What mail provider? If it's not a common one you may need to go into advanced settings to get your encryption setup correctly.

I've had this problem with Yahoo and my Dad and Mother-in-law have (separately) had this problem with Talktalk.

They seem to break and fix themselves on a regular basis!!! Never had a problem with Outlook or Gmail
