Hello,
I've found some generic solutions on the net for my issue but it is still persisting. Spec in sig.

Basically when watching anything on the W10 Netflix app the video will freeze for a couple of seconds, the sound then repeats for the duration and once it comes back it is out of sync, it does this multiple times regardless of what I am watching. I have 80 meg Fibre so know internet speed isn't an issue. It never used to happen and I have no idea why it is doing it.

Although my TV has a built in Netflix app I prefer using the W10 app just so I can browse in the background if necessary, the web player isn't ideal as it doesn't do 5.1.

Has anyone experienced anything like this and/or have any solutions?

Cheers.

can you select whether 720p/1080p/4K streams are used ? - maybe the freezes are symptoms of available DRM being insufficient for the stream you are trying to view.
I thought Kaby Lake intel processor was needed for 4k , also edge essential for 1080p.

It works fine for me & I have a similar rig to you & use the app for the same reason (5.1). Try dl a programme & watching it to see if the issue still persists to eliminate a network issue.

Cheers for the replies. I have managed to figure out the issue. Basically I have my display LG OLED duplicated with my Anthem AVR receiver, my Anthem receiver can't do 4k 60hz only 30hz. It's not an issue in anything else but as soon as I just extended the receiver rather than duplicated the problem went away. Not ideal as its a pain having to re duplicate as the mouse disappears off screen etc but it's not a huge issue.
