Windows 10 Not Connecting to Synology NAS DS411j

Hi guys, i just installed windows 10 on my nuc6. My NAS (synology ds411j) shows up as a device in the network but i cant access it in any way. DOes anyone know what the problem is and hopefiully how to fix this? My windows 7 laptop has no problem accessing the drives through the network. The NAS and NUC are connected via network cables. cheers

I had a similar issue and you had to enable SMB 3.0 on the NAS. As windows 10 disabled SMB 1 as it had issues.

Many thanks for your reply. This has worked a treat many thanks for posting the link. I have mapped the network drives so they appear in explorer, its a pity the shared drives dont appear under the network. CHeers
