Hi,

Some may remember my recent thread asking about encryption software, well, I purchased 7 licences for DESlock+ Pro and set them up, it worked a treat remotely.

However, we've a handful of laptops still on site that I am going to have to setup with encryption before we can send them out.

Now, they are Windows 7 Pro Dell Latitude 3550 or 3560 laptops, each comes with a Dell Windows 10 Pro Operating system DVD which states it's already installed on your system. Obviously, it isn't.

Now, I couldn't check directly from the DVD as the laptops do not have DVD drives so I've managed to create a bootable USB which it recognizes fine, however, after running through various options it to reset the laptop I get hte error message "Unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing."

Each DVD package has a code on it starting with CN-6 digits-5 digits-3 digits-4 digits, is this a Win 10 serial code? If I can get my hands on a proper Win 10 Pro 64 disc could I install it using this code? Or is this purely tied to the Dell install if it was installing from the protected partition?
