windows 10 or 11

I was an early adopter when 10 came out mainly because I had to support end users on it.

This time round I will let it mature for a bit.10 isnt going anywhere for a while and seeing these 'features' meaning you have to workaround them isnt making me want to go there any faster! :)

I think you need 11 because of the E cores I could be wrong

if not 10 for me no reason to upgrade at the minute

Which features do you need to work around? Do you mean people refusing to move with the times and using a start menu from 1995?

Seen people having issues with sound equipment and VM's. Its bad enough supporting users that struggle with Windows 10, I am in no rush - why does it have to be a rushed adoption? Was pretty clear, so far I have not seen anything to distinctly need me to upgrade so far but am welcome to being convinced... :)

Oh no, you dont need to upgrade at all. But most of the complaints are just people raging about minor changes/refusing to adapt/installing tools to make it look like windows 95.

Windows 11, and I am on 5950x supposely the worse CPU to be on 11.

It feels much more cleaner, and much less Ads in your face (Still preinstalled junkware though).

It also has better support for Ultrawide monitors and HDR, none of that low res login screen and loading screen out of the box.

Always time for flex :p

The new Start menu and taskbar in 11 are absolutely wretched and an objective functionality downgrade, but StartAllBack fixes everything.

Yes I understand your point now. :) Users complaining for complaining sake is typical, but software these days tends to push the early adopters into being the live guinea pigs so I will just wait a couple more months then evaluate.

Linux has joined the chat room....

With ADL e-cores version you don't have a choice, on anything else stay on 10. 11 is still bugy, and you don't lose anything if you stay on 10. Directstorage is far far away, so no real reason to upgrade to 11.
