Windows 10 Pro installation

Still working through my new build but waiting for the out of stock CPU.

Windows 10 Pro

Old pc is Win7. I have a fairly new laptop on Win10 Pro with a Microsoft account.

For my new pc, should I use the same Microsoft account as the laptop? What advantages/disadvantages would I get?

only one - sync.

Settings, desktop background, clipboard, things like that.

if you leave the network cable out and / or skip WiFi setup on install you can use a local account instead of being forced to use an online one.

No need to setup network connection till after the install is complete, then go settings and update.

Thanks. Are there options to choose which bits you want to sync?
