Windows 10 Question

Just upgraded from windows 8.1 pro to windows 10 via windows update,All went fine.

However i would like to do a clean install so everything is "fresh"..ive found my windows 10 key..so can i just create a windows 10 iso and use my windows 10 key or does it only work if i say go from 8.1 to then 10?

It's been covered quite a bit before but once you have done the upgrade from your previous version of windows, your then free to do a fresh install

Once you have upgraded to W10 make sure W10 is activated otherwise the clean install will not activate once done

once W10 is activated you can do a clean install of W10 using the USB tool. press skip when asking for the product key and your hardware ID will activate W10 once online

You don't need a key to do a clean install since activation is based on your hardware (mainly the motherboard serial number) so once you get to the insert product key part of the installation you can skip it and it will be activated once the installation is complete (if I remember correctly all windows 10 (maybe just the upgrades) installations use the same product key).
