Windows 10 S

All the budget (£2-300) laptops come with ‘Windows 10 in S mode’, can you just change it back to full/ normal windows 10 or is it a restricted licence key or anything?

found this video that shows how to change out of S mode and it’s showing as free so I’m guessing should be fine but just not sure

From what I remember when I bought my el-cheapo laptop it was just like the video where you can just switch it to normal Windows 10.

Microsoft's support page also says its free

Yep you can switch out of S mode in the app store.
