Windows 10 Start Menu - Most used programs disappear

Anyone else found this issue and found a fix?

Sometimes I find this 'Most used' section in the Start Menu is either not there or not showing all of the programs I use most.

I can still get to the programs by scrolling down the Start Menu to their alphabetical placement, just takes longer.

I've seen this a few times where it disappears, annoying but a reboot always seems to fix it.

Right click task bar, select settings, select start, set the 'show most used apps' button to 'on'
Failing that, right click your most used programs from the start menu (the executable) then select 'pin to start'

Thanks, at least it's not just me, hopefully they'll realise and fix it at some point.
