Yesterday I was just playing a bit of Nostalgia-tastic L4D2 and got a BSOD - IRQ not less or equal - not much info.
When it restarted itself it's gone into an Automatic Repair Loop - it fails to fix the problem (not sure what the problem is)
None of the alternative manual recovery options seem to work.
Bootrec reckons there are 0 windows installations. /fixboot /fixmbr say they completed successfully.
If X: = Windows PE recovery thing, then E: is my Windows drive, there's a windows folder on there, and apparently all my files seem to be still intact, or at least present.
The SSD that windows is on is recognised/readable by a windows 7 HDD I had lying around.
I don't know what I can try next to fix it. Windows 10 was auto-updated (I let it happen) from Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I don't have and never created a windows 10 rescue disc/usb.
I tried running DISM from the windows PE with /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth options but they don't work.
sfc /scannow seems to think there are 0 files wrong, but then says it failed to perform the requested operation.
Halp?
