Windows 10 Uninstalling Apps Without Permission

Anyone else getting this ?

My OS has uninstalled Garmin Express and the drivers to my old Canon Scanner ! It never asked, and I only ffind out when they stop working.
Reinstalled the drivers for the scanner and it works fine again, but I am completely unable to reinstall Garmin Express. A quick Google seems I'm not alone.

If this is true I will have to consider reverting to 8.1.

Linux ?

When did that come out ? November or December ?
I took the update a few weeks after release as there were a few teething issues as I recall.

Auto updated - so it would have been then I assume

Also appear to have lost Excel files in older versions of Excel !

I'm not on insder builds ? Looks like a common issue.
