Just updated to Windows 10 Pro build 1511/10586.3 through Windows Update.
With this being a new build, the update is like a full OS upgrade. The upgrade went mostly ok, but Nvidia driver was back to 355.82.
Updated to 358.91 using Geforce Experience. Update seemed to go OK but system hung like crazy when doing a restart.

System restarted eventually and everthing seems ok now on initial test. I've no real games to test with but testing 3D applications like Autodesk Inventor, 3DS Max and Unreal Engine 4, everything seems ok so far.

Anybody else got the latest Windows 10 build yet. What's your experience?

I did a fresh install for the new build and it automatically put me on the 355.82 graphics driver only - no GeForce etc.

I just clean installed the latest drivers and everything was fine - no issues luckily.

Yea, I had Geforce Experience installed before the upgrade and did update rather than clean install.
I've used GE before to update drivers before without problems. Infact the drivers seem to have installed ok, but I've never seen GE hang the system like that before on a restart. I was thinking that the new OS plus new driver could have affected the restart, but as you say, you installed the latest driver without GE and had no problems.

Anyway, everthing seems stable now.

I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 upgrade went ok but had to re-install a couple of apps but after a while l did a clean install.

Every thing installed first time and it seems a lot smoother as well.

Its a very nice OS and installs quite quick as well.

Just remembered actually. When I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 originally and fresh installed windows installed a graphics driver on its own and this completely messed my computer until I removed the driver.

I was having freezing issues on the desktop, login screen and everything and I had to boot into safe mode to remove the drivers and reinstall the ones from Nvidia.

I originally thought it was due to SLI but it sort of matches the issue you had temporarily.

Love windows 10, that was basically the only issue I had

Glad its resolved :)
