Windows 10 Update killed my PC...

Mine is working fine, got to love Windows 10 :)

P.s. Why would you install Windows 10 on a server? Stick something proper on it... 2008 R2 or better yet Linux!

Are you seeing "server" where he wrote "services"? :p

Anyway, W10 would be fine for a simple file server if there was little need for any more than the basic permissions, but it's obviously impossible for it to be a fully functional AD server.

^^ I've pretty much stopped doing Windows update on 7 (silly MS) due to the way they keep trying to creep the notification into "critical" updates :S

It usually says "Update for Windows 7" rather than "Security Update for Windows 7"

All the ones that aren't "Security" I check out Support Information and if its W10 related it gets added to the list of "hidden" updates.

Havn't seen a W10 update notification yet. :p

Fair enough - I just got fedup with trying to work out whether important updates were actually just Windows 10 upgrade stuff or actual important updates and kicked the lot in :S earlier on it was more obvious but now you have to ignore the description and check on the website link to be sure :|

Strangely, I removed my overclock and it's been stable since. Yet, prior to these updates it has been stable for a serious amount of time.

I can't say i have had any problems with windows 10 so far....updates worked fine on PC and laptop and brix...maybe some software issues in your systems...try to get those updated prior to any updates?

Everything was as update as it can be... Seemed to have just been the new updates didn't like my overclock!
