I have an old pc that is used as a stand alone computer for controlling a laser engraver. It has windows 7 on it, but to upgrade the engraver software I need to upgrade to windows 10. I attempted to upgrade from the Microsoft website but got an error message:[ C:\Users\Quantum Research\Downloads\Windows10Upgrade9252 (3).exe is not a valid Win32 application ]. Could someone please tell me why I get this message and more importantly how to resolve it?

Hi

I'll move this over to the Windows section as it seems more a software question than a networking one, but my guess would be that the file might be corrupt, going by the (3) it seems you might have at least 4 copies of the file? As normally a number like "(3)" suggests multiple copies, If that is so you might want to try running "Windows10Upgrade925.exe"
