I always use sleep mode to keep my state.
Since I upgraded to win 10 2 days ago I can't sleep, it will sleep, no fans, no anything, and 2 secs later it will wake up.

How do I prevent my Lan adapter from waking my pc up?

Also Win 10 superfetch seems useless, I have 32gb ram, in win7 everything would be filled up with cached files (and it showed, navigating with the file explorer to any location I've been before (on any of my 6hdd's or 2 ssd's) was fast and many often used apps and games were pre-loaded into ram), in win 10 it only uses 4-5gb instead of 8-9gb, and it only caches about 17gb instead of all the remaining ram (20-27gb). Does it need to re-learn my use? Meh... Navigating using the start menu also feels much slower/less responsive (mind I have a 4.6 ghz i7, 32gb ram, and an SSD, it should fly).

Found the function in device manager on the lan adaper :o.

Now superfetch, any way to teach it, or is there nothing but waiting it out till it learns?
I mean I already had complaints abotu w7 superfetch, but now with a ''new'' install on win 10 it's far far worse even.
I can clearly notice that some bits of the OS (like said before, navigating through certain folders (with kb) or start menu search responsiveness) are much slower/sluggish than before.

I would just let superfetch learn the way you use your system, it shouldn't take too long as long as you don't clean the cache'd files all the time forcing it to relearn (i found ccleaner did that especially when you delete thumnail cache's aswell).

As for your pc waking up, you can keep wake on lan enabled and disable pattern match. That way wake on lan will still work. Not sure what item you disabled?
