Well Google isn't being helpful at all on this issue so I'm hoping someone here has an idea, as I'm at a loss now.
I've just upgraded Windows 7 professional to Windows 10. Everything went very smoothly until after signing into my account for the first time... I've done this numerous times on other PCs without a hitch from both 7 and 8.1 too.
So it gets to the "friendly AI" style messages saying Hi and it's setting up my pc etc, until the ironic message "We'll be ready soon" pops up... then nothing. Left it for over 12 hours and still nothing. I've tried restarting but it just settles back to the same screen.
I'm at a loss at this stage, few search results on Google aren't of any help and I've no access to windows to do any kind of diagnostics, and from what I'm reading I don't think I can get into safe mode either. It seems you have to enter Windows in order to activate safe mode. What bright spark came up with that idea? The alternative apparently doesn't work if using an SSD or UEFI BIOS, both boxes ticked there then.
My specs are below if that's of any help.
Appreciate anyone's time!

OK after what must be my fifth restart, it's just spontaneously worked. It didn't do the messages, just went straight in. Now I'm afraid to turn the PC off
