Windows 10 with windows 7 old games.

Hi I hope some one can help I have just upgraded to win10 from 7 and was in the middle of a chess game so I saved the game and reinstalled old windows 7 titan chess game so I could carry on.

All was good but after I installed the first big update the game will not save, so reinstalled old seven game titan chess again and still no joy the game works but will not save my game state I have been playing for over a month so really want to finish the game

Call me and idiot because my saved game was on the desk top I was reloading an old game state , windows was saving the new game in the saved games folder all the time lol.
