Hi,

I just picked up some new RAM to upgrade my existing rig. DDR3 2133 - Corsair Vengeance 16gb Ram (2x8GB) CMY16GX3M2B2133C11
I currently have an i5 2500k 3.3 and Asrock P67 Pro3 SE - https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P67 Pro3 SE/index.asp

BIOS has been updated to most recent. I am OCing the i5 2500k at 4.4Ghz.

If I select 2133 in the DRAM config in BIOS, Windows 10 does not boot. If I select 1866 it boots fine. I have uploaded the CPU-Z .html file to my dropbox - you can download and view it here - https://www.dropbox.com/s/g94jd8ttfzvrgbz/DigiToss.html?dl=0

Anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Current Build;

CPU - i5 2500k 3.3 OC @ 4.4
FAN - Coolermaster Hyper TX3 Cooler
M/B - Asrock P67 Pro3 SE
RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2133 2x8GB Ram

I'd remove that link for the memory asap, not allowed to link competitors.
Try the memory at that speed without your cpu overcooked to see how you get on, I'm guessing you are using the xmp profile?

I tried disabling CPU overclock and that did nothing. It is acutally its not just Windows 10. Sometimes it doesnt even boot when I try 2333. Like I turn it on and it automatically turns off after a few seconds then comes on again then off then on again and says some error about UEFI, so i put it back to 1866 and it works.

You have to remember that although the motherboard supports upto 2133mem it's overclocked so not guaranteed, you could mess about with the memory timings or try a slightly lower speed for the memory, it's up to you how much time/effort you want to put in to get the highest memory speed possible compared to the gains you will get which won't be that noticeable.
