Since upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 my computer wont wake up from sleep.

Normally I just click the mouse or keyboard and it wakes up.
Now I have to press the power button, which goes through the boot screens like a normal boot taking about 45 sec., but the work and windows are restored to there previous state.

any ideas?
cheers,

Sounds like "hybrid sleep" which is the default if you allow hibernate. Turn hibernate off and it should do normal S3 sleep, which keeps RAM powered.

Go to device manager, right click on your mouse and go properties. What is ticked on the power management tab?

Yep, both mouse and keyboard set to allow to be use to wake up.

Yea, its not normal sleep to its either hybird or hibernate. I've reset power plan options and made sure both are turned off.

I'm having issues with sleep here as well. Bloomin' monitor won't wake up when the rest of the PC does.

Beginning to regret upgrading before these issues were found, preferably by someone else :p
