As the title suggests, is it possible to dual boot these 2 operating systems on a Ryzen 5 laptop with 4gb of ram ?

The reason I need to do this is because I've just brought a piece of software for my car, diagbox 7.83 (Peugeot planet) with the leads, but it apparently only runs on Windows XP, or would I just be better off picking up a cheap XP laptop off fleabay ?

It's possible but you'll struggle to find the correct drivers for XP.

Have you tried running the software in compatibility mode and see if it works? If not then you'll be better off running a VM with XP instead (VirtualBox is free).

Having a little more Googling around it looks like it will work on 10, but it needs to be 32-bit and not 64-bit. You'll also need .NET 3.5 and VC++ 2008 installed as well to ensure it runs properly.
