Windows 10

So I have a retail version of Win7 up and running and wanting to try out windows 10...

am I able to use both in a dual boot system or will windows update know I've 'upgraded' my win 7 to Win 10 ?

Ideally I would put it on a separate SSD altogether and choose which to boot up from. Does that sound feasible / possible ?

you can only have 1 OS using the key, either 10 or 7 not both at once.

never tried this so I maybe wrong but you may get issues.

You can always use Virtual Box and put win 10 on it.
