Hi, I purchased all PC components from overclockers last February together with a Windows Home edition dvd, however I now constantly keep on getting a warning on screen saying that my windows is expiring on 31/7/20. Please help. Thanks.

What version are you on?

Latest is 2004.

It’s upto date. I’m confused. First time I’ve had this problem, Windows OS is not supposed to have an expiry

It doesn't but old builds do... Is it showing its 2004?

Check your Windows license key has been entered properly. You did buy a Windows 10 license, didn't you?

It’s been working fine since February and ‘yes’ I bought a licenced Windows 10 dvd from overclockers. Only just now it’s been giving me the warning

You should just need to re-activate it.

But do run a scan for malware, just in case it's fake.

Windows could do with a new look now. Win 10 is looking tired and dated.

Is it possible that somehow my son has changed the windows 10 to an insider version? If so I don’t think I can go back and need to get another licence key

FIXED!!!! I reinstalled windows from a backup image back in April. Thanks everyone for trying to help.
