Windows 11, duplicating and extending a screen at the same time.

I want to buy a new monitor.

Does anyone know if it is possible to mirror 2 displays and have another display extended to the side.

they would be different refresh rates but I don't thihk this matters, the 2 screen duplicated are the same resolution and the extended screen is a lower res.

Can this be done?

Thanks.

Yes, it's possible. You just click the screen you want to duplicate and click "Duplicate desktop on x and y", the 3rd screen stays extended.

Here's my screens now:

If I click "Duplicate desktop on 2 and 3" those mirror each other and 1 is still an extended screen. As you mentioned, refresh rate doesn't seem to matter either my screen 2 is 165Hz and screen 3 is 60Hz, still works fine.
