Windows 11 fresh install freezing up

I've just built a new system using various new and used parts.

I installed windows on it fine, all the drivers.
Ran cinebench with hwinfo open while I let windows update do its thing a couple of times with the restarts as required. After the final restart nothing will launch. I can open folders but can't get task manager up, can't launch any applications.

I tried doing another install but it's done exactly the same again.

I read that the latest update can cause this with enterprise machines but personal computers should be unaffected.

Can anyone any advice?
Thanks
Scott

I've done more troubleshooting and starting to suspect my motherboard.
I'm going to make a new thread elsewhere

I tried 4 different sticks all independently and they worked. Disabling the igpu did the trick for some reason

I did the full update. It was strange because it worked fine with a 7600 installed but I tried 2 different 7800x3ds and they bother made the system hang.

Do you have a spare nvme or another drive you can try installing on? I did read something earlier this year where someone had strange issues with installation and it ended up being something wrong with the nvme/ssd they were using.
