Windows 11 on Kaby Lake i5-7440HQ laptop

Hello all,

One of my parent's laptops has the above CPU and the Health Check tool says it's not compatible. It meets all other criteria though. I would like to upgrade it to W11 if possible. Any advice?

Thank you. I’ll take a look. I was quite surprised as that laptop is only 3yrs old.

Yep Rufus will work

And there's also a registry hack
If upgrading rather than clean installing
