When i was trying to sort out my boot priorities so i could boot from usb to upgrade to Windows 11, i noticed in the list it has two SSD in the list I am a bit confused as i only have one.

Hard Disk Samsung SSD 850.

UEFI Hard Disk Windows Boot Manager PO: Samsung SSD 850.

It's setup so the UEFI one boots first.

There is bound to be a simple reason why there is two the same but when I only actually have one SSD.

You probably have *CSM enabled in the BIOS.

*Compatibility Support Module: Allows booting from MBR drives when using UEFI BIOS.

Interesting as i have just looked at a youtube video to see where CSM setting is on the MSI mobo, and I don't have it. Settings Advanced Windows os configuration gives me this:

Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support: Disabled
Windows 7 Installation: Enabled

MSI Fast Boot: Disabled
Fast Boot : Disabled

Edit: Is CSM Legacy Mode?
