I use pro version
Not sure about how home version works

I used to do it by putting a@a as email address
And any random password

Looks like Microsoft are putting a stop to that
And you will need to use shift +f10
Then oobe\bypassnro going forwards

I guess you can also
Create online account with a throwaway email address
Then switch to a local account afterwards
Though shouldn't really need to do this stuff

If there is any demand, I could put together an unattend.xml, with settings to create a local account, disable OOBE and the first user sign in.
The xml needs to be placed in the root of the USB and can be edited with your own username and password.

just use Rufus to create the bootable usb stick..

Keep meaning to give Win11 a try, will try out Rufus and run a VM. I too would prefer to just use a local account if possible.
