I am using Windows 11 Pro on a ryzen7 1700 system .....everything seems to work fine. Ny taskbar message is that Windows 11 is now at end of service so keem to upgrade to 24H2 if possible.
I have seen many write ups re LabConfig registry hack but that does not have a key for CPU bypass if I remember correctly.
BypassTPMCheck and set its value to 1.
BypassSecureBootCheck and set its value to 1.
Create BypassCPUCheck and set its value to 1.

so how to implement CPU check on a working windows11 system

The Ryzen7 does have TPM , Secure Boot, 32G Ram, 64GB or larger, Cpu has 2 or more threads. see
here

As I said I am using Windows 11 (21H2) without any issues but would like to get the updates.

Any ideas & advice welcome
Many Thanks

With unsupported systems, Windows update may not work and you have to install it manually.

Alternatively, you could upgrade to a 2000 or later CPU.

As others have said, if you chose to run Windows 11 on unsupported hardware then you usually need to manually install each annual feature update otherwise you'll eventually fall out of security update support.

The easiest way is probably to use Rufus to make a new 24H2 installation USB, which strips out the hardware requirement checks. You should be able to do an in-place upgrade with it. https://rufus.ie/en/

I have d/l rufus & setup a USB with 24H2 just in case I need it. My problem has disappeared now and I am on 24H2. This happened after I enlisted to the Windows 11 Insider. Not sure if it is a good thing but just proves that that CPU works fine.

Windows insider preview will get you
The latest build versions
But it may also be unstable or have other issues
It if I remember also expires
So you may end up either having to unregister from
Insider previews
Or it will deactivate Windows
Though all you lose really is personalisation features

For these reasons I use insider on a separate drive
So any problems I can boot off a different drive
Not really recommended to use insider as
Your one and only OS just in case
